In the morning today, Sydney was raining bucketloads and as a result, i had to trudge through deep pools on my way to work.
As a turned a corner (and again, hitting a pool of water) my car started to spit and shake and eventually conked out.. i know this can be a problem with some cars (as there were 5 other cars that had to pull over and be abandoned), but non of my previous cars ever had this problem (including my little 89 Nissan Pulsar Q)
And i also remembered that last time i tried to clean the engine bay with a jet hose, the car wouldn't kick over until it had time to dry.
Is water a big no no with MK3's? Or just mine?
On a brighter note, my car eventually started AND i also came back to the car to find a CAMDEN GTI business card on my side mirror!
You were a long way from home there Loon!
