Don't you hate that, how often do you see these idiots do damage this way!

Too lazy to tighten by hand and set the rattle gun to "as tight as all hell" with no consideration for correct torque settings or the next poor bugger that has to take the wheel off!

Well done in solving the problem Matt, pity you had to take such extreme measures.

          Cheers

Not only is that thinking outside the box, it's also tearing the box apart, jumping on it, setting the remains on fire, then dacing around it while chanting in time to the theme music from Herbie...

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

And so the guy is running around on a space saver with 4 studs holding it on???

I hope you weighed in the remains of the wheel to recoup the cost of the drills and easyout.

I had 3 other sweet VR6 stock rims, and the tyre shop swopped the original tyre onto the replacement wheel.

All 5 studs are in and they all come out too.

I wouldnt have done it without a spare wheel the same.

I always tighten the wheels myself with a brace when at the tyreshop, imagine having to get a towtruck cos you cant undoo a wheelnut!

I was gonna sell the bits of wheel for $10 scrap aluminium, but I will probably just use them as a paperweight, or put em on the wall.
