So um... there's a VR engine in the FS section, and I've got a registered car that won't be used for a month.... any, erm...any thoughts about what that could all mean?

Sorry guys, random last post I know but i've been busy with some diy's with an even more exciting diy to come!

but first, the shave!

First time for body work, plastic welding, spraying with a gun and using a buffing machine, so considering all of that, i'm pretty chuffed and learnt a heap....

I was running some slightly modified and refinished old school merc hub caps but one spun off so i've now refinished some VW UP! hub caps :p haha, looks ok for now till I decide on a new direction with the wheels.....

annnnd the pics.... the light was diminishing and trying to capture a black car using no tripod was a nightmare, so apologies.... I'll get better pics later..

I've gone through and upgraded the stereo with front and rear splits, sub and a unit that looks as standard as possible. Also lined the door cards and outer door skin with dynamat; Seriously, if you've thought about doing it, just do it, it's worth it. The front speakers hit harder and the doors shut with more of a thud now......

Sorry bro, my mobile has been broken for a week and a bit now, also the lack of internet at home has been hard to stay in contact with the world

So without front indicators it was a little difficult manuvering through traffic, haha, so I planned on making my parker bulbs the new inicators but the little wedges are not anywhere near bright enough for anything other than ****ty parkers; So here's my solution.....


so I started with this.....





bought some 40mm pvc pipe and cut up a pair of DEPO front indicators for the bulb holder





turned into this........ I stuck some reflective insulation tape on the inside to help with the light output (probably did nothing)









stuck them onto the housing with jb weld





and painted





I've used the parker wires through the og headlight wire harness to keep it all oem so i'm running no parkers at the moment but I have alternate ideas there....

and they work as they should with no dodgey/out-of-place looking indicators, wickedness
