Any more info on how long the heat gun method lasts? Forever black hasn't worked too well for me now either I was planning on respraying the bumpers until now...

Not sure to be honest, I only did it say 3 weeks ago and in the research ive done cant find many people doing it on mk3s so really dont know. I guess it will last a long long time but in other models of cars ive heard mixed things. Still, if you have a heat gun it cant hurt to try, you can still do any of the other methods over the top if you arent happy.

Antenna yes! My one is absolutely shot. I managed to do fix my old visor and use it for now, seems pretty sturdy!

I can see how door dings in car parks could be an accident but will never understand why someone would key a car. Hopefully it isn't too deep and you can buff it out or something. Sucks.

Sucks a fat one mate. I had it done to my rear quarter panel on a previous golf. I have no idea what goes through these peoples minds, hopefully they get what's coming to them.

On a lighter note , it looks like you've done an awesome job on the detailing front. Looking forward to seeing your pride and joy progress

Really hope they rot in hell. Can't do much now besides cursing them on a forum now, scratches are pretty deep. Chances of them buffing out are really low.. I'll give it a go anyway when I get a chance.
