I had an inch of poke on mine before camber (your situation is a little different to mine). All you need is camber, that's the only way you'll get clearance. The only option for tyres is 205/40, nothing more, nothing less.
Nice wheels

The amount of stretch would also factor into the actual rolling diameter!

So how much is considered safe for grinding off carriers/calipers? Not trying to hijack the thread or anything but I just measured everything up for my RS and I need 6mm more clearance up the front to clear the brakes, would need to both grind the carrier and the caliper. Thinking I can probably do it, there will be a decent bit of metal left, but it seems pretty dodgy. I haven't bought lips for them yet so I don't have the poke problem if I go with spacers, but I'd rather not, they would sit perfectly the offset they are, just clearing the strut, meaning I can go realllly widesigpic

Ben, are you really going to risk your safety (grinding brake components) over running a small spacer? and changing your final fitment?
I'm all for mad wheels and mad fitment, but there has got to be a bitof common sense still!

I agree 100% with keeping things safe, but am just wondering what is considered to be safe? Im certain if you could do it without heating them up too much you could atleast shave off a couple mm with no effect. Bolt on spacers might even be less safe then taking off a couple mm.
