I didn't have the money either, had to wait a week I only put in a bid for $200 too... I wasn't expecting to win, nor hoping.

    • Nice rims.

But I reckon the centre caps on the steelies are cool.

Perhaps look out for a set of a mk 1, polished up might look good. Even with out the flush fit, I reckon teh caps look cool.

      • Thanks Jarred I actually DO have a Mk1 steelie centre cover but I have NO CLUE how to mod them to fit... but I agree, they look awesome with the dome shape and its polished-goodness... I might just have to think harder.

        • I'd use some of the mk 3 centre cap as a "base" to fit onto the wheels/nuts.

then glue or similar the polished cap onto the mk 3 centre cap/"base". mk 3 cap might need to be cut down/up to fit the mk 1 cap on, but it could be worth it!

              Money shot?

And that rear window regulator is busted though I did pick up a working second-hand one from fellow member andrew! Hopefully I'll have time this week to get it in.

Hatch will change soon and I'm set on keeping to a certain theme and putting a bit of effort into it. Colour on the badgeless grille was an exact match until the clearcoat decided to yellow... Gonna repaint that another day. Bumpers are in the process of being smoothed over as well!

Hopefully updates will come in thick and fast within the next month.

Nope, but it was time-consuming and a little annoying at places. Essentials are a really good pair of scissors, hot glue gun, headliner adhesive spray and a bag of expletives. Steve and I are doing his pillars at the moment so the next time I go over his place, we'll take pics
