Ok so me and Robin wen wheel whoring today, in search for these BBS' ive been told about. After wasting time driving around and getting lost, found the ones I was on about, but alas they sucked tits and no good. We schleped around a few other importers and such with SFA luck, dang! Stopped off at a joint on the way home and found something that caught my fancy..... hehe, couldnt resist them! 16x7 4x100 ET38 Modenas

Now all I need is some rubber! 195/45/16s should do the trick me thinks

    • Perfect! Are they multi-piece? Get an extra inch into those lips. 8" wide ET12 will sit damn pretty with 195/45's I had the exact same setup, but with BBS wheels.

      Damn I miss them!

Spent most of the day working on the car again. Was time for the service and brake upgrade. Did all the usual oil, plugs, leads and filters. Damn the oil filter was firmly on there!! Last person to put it on did it waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too tight, ended up punching a hole in it and smashing the bastard off. Brakes were easy as and my god are they a **** load better than before. Old ones were soo shagged, way past the limit on the discs and the fluid was soo black you couldnt see through it infront of the light....not cool. Still bedding the GreenStuffs in, but so far so good, they friken rock

                            • Been spending some evenings cleaning up the new wheels until I have the coin to get some tread for them (hopefully this weekend). Couple of the wheels have some bad gutter rash on them, so been filling the lips down and sanding to get rid of the worst of it. Takes a while but will be worth it in the long run. One wheel will need to be taken into get fixed/re-rolled as it has a slight flat edge on the inside back edge of the rim and this afwul chunk bent out. Dont think it will effect the rolling of the wheel itself or leak air, but will be nice to get cleaned up none the less

I pulled all the centre caps off and cut and polished them with special silver paint cut n polish shizzle I found in the workshop, came out really well

Also sanded back, primered and repainted the centre cap nuts. Mmmmm nice and fresh and shiny
