Well it has been fun having my MK3 2.0 Golf but I thought it was time I had some VR POWER! Although my wallet kind of said no lol
So I found myself a cheap and not so cheerful example of a 1994 VR6. It needs some work but that's the fun isn't it? My plan is to get the engine up and running, as it was sitting for a year at the previous owners home, then sort out the paintwork and interior. THEN the mods begin
But of course the obligatory pics first, pretty much untouched at this stage so bear with me

It has a few things that need to be done with the engine like the oil, coolant, leads, plugs and accessory belt as well as a split CV boot on the drivers side. And if I'm not mistaken pretty rusty brakes which I think are partially siezed, but then again I haven't turned it over yet so I can't really test it until I sort out those few things.
Just a question to kick it off, with the CV do I need to just replace just the boot or the joint or even the whole axle?
Tim.
