    Brenton, I think you'd be best taking Tim up on his offer. being able to use parts that are known working can be a real help in diagnosing problems.

                I got professional help yesterday.
                Big thanks for Andrew and Tim
                Andrew for the VAGCOM cable (when do you want it back?)
                and Tim for lending me his fuel pump.

                I have to go to petroject today and get the right pump. It turns out they may not have supplyed the correct pump, and all my problems have stemed from insufficiant pressure. (Codes supported this).

                  Just bring it with you on the cruise if you don't need it any more.

                  Glad to see you got the car back on the road properly, knew it had to be fuel related..... good to see people can look up a catalogue properly!
