Where can I get a strut brace for a MK3?

Anyone know where I can get a front upper strut brace (preferably alloy) for a MK3 VR6? Would prefer to buy here in AU.

I got one, the brand is 'coxspeed' got lucky scoring it from a wrecker, just had to re-route the A/C line (and regassed it) but this happened as part of the engine swap anyway
Will fit 2L's & VR6's I'll get the part number off it later if you want

Wow, interesting to see one that clears the 16v throttle body...

I've been hesitant to buy any, as the ones I've seen are curved...

Get the Nuespeed one, i priced up mine new and it came to $390nz landed ex-japan, clears the throttle body by only about 3mm

Strut brace works similar to the sway bar in that it links the left and right side of suspension struts of on the same axle. Increases rigidity.

What is in the VR6 as standard and whats worth replacing?

I believe the MK3 Golf VR6 did not come stock with an upper strut brace. I'll leave it up to the other MK3'ers to correct me if I'm wrong...

It doesn't have a top front, but I believe it was a rear sway bar, not sure about front.

Sorry I, knew what I was talking about in my head. Im interested in strut brakes and/or sway bars and what is stock and what difference an uprated bar or bars would make.
