It all depends how much money you want to spend.

If you don't have much then forget about trying to make it fast haha

wack a supercharger on it .. heard you gain a whole lot of power even out of a 2.slow

sell it, buy a vr6, put some good suspension on it and decent tyres, a good tune up, a couple of basic cheap performance mods, and you'll be walking all over a decent percent of the cars out on the road in something thats cheap, sleeperish, and darn good looking As far as im aware the 2.0 isnt going to make big power without big money, although some decent suspension and such will make it a fun drive still.

Also, make sure its not an automatic.

i put bigger cams in my 2.0, not much of a difference. seriously buy a vr6. my 2.0 just sits around now, the vr6 is way to much to drive over the 2.slow

It's all about power to weight. Given you can't really make more power (on the cheap) it leaves one option... remove some weight.

Sadly the 2L isn't the best base to start from, especially on a budget.

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.
