I saw a black Vr6 in the emergency lane on the Hume hwy near Prestons abandoned with its front driver side wheel on a 90 degree angle, looked like it had slid pretty far like that. Was sitting on its sump with a fair bit of damage done....I doubt it was economically fixable.

As for others, there is a yellow and two (i think) blacks over here in perth. There was a 2nd yellow one but apparently it has gone over east. There are two green ones rolling around melbourne and a blue one somewhere in QLD. That's all I know.

It was once upon a time.
Chances are I'll be bringing mine back to life btw. And a lot of written off vr6's im sure see life again in some other sort of vehicle, which would make it very hard to get a real count of how many are getting around.sigpic

I very rarely see another VR6 on the road over here, except for my housemates one parked right next to mine!!
It sucks that they're so rare, but I love the feeling of having something else that a lot of others dont have
VW is now huge here in Perth. You only really need to take a quick look in the late model sections of this forum to see that people here are buying them buy the boatload - quite literally! I've lost count of how many Golf R's i've seen of late and Mk6 GTI's are common place. Here's hoping in a few years time the mk3 vr6 begins to get some sort of cult recognition (I wish?).1996 Golf VR6 Colour Concept Green
