Cheers budd Drives much better to! Taunting whit the idea of lowering a bit more. The only thing keeping me from doing it is the fact that i wanna be able to drive it around without worrying all the time. Scraping the lip in and out of driveways already as it is

I'm annoyed and irritated! Just had a go at detaching the lenses from the headlights but couldn't get the stupid glue to let go! gaaaaaah! tried heating it up and whatnot but it just didn't want to.... most frustrating......... had even gone and bought new black sealant and black paint to spray the edges of the reflectors.
                      Oh well!

stick them in the oven for 1 mins to loosen the glue, it will work.

the golf is very good at testing your patience haha

like DubSteve said, a couple minutes in the oven and a knife and a bit of force, and theyll come off. If your joey modding them and masking them, dont use normal masking tape it will take the chrome of the headlights straight off (it comes off much easier then youd think, dont ask me how I know), glad wrap apparently works. I ended up doing mine with a brush

Guys thank you so much! I'm going to give it another go after I get back from my work trip. I got irritated cause I did this mod on my Volvo and it took me like 2sec to do. And the chrome stayed on beautifully even thought I used good masking tape on it. I think though that I'll go with a small paintbrush on these lenses.
                                Cheers guys!

Fyi, the new exhaust makes the engine run so much better!! mucho happio
