those mk3 seats even look like there in good nick! better then mine anyway.
The interior on the Vento is very good. headlining needs a serious clean/replacement (how did that get up there...), the drivers seat has a tear on the RH side, and the guages for the fans/air con needs glueing or replacing due to a broken clip on the back, other then that and needing a massive clean it looks awesome
Yeh take the foam and cover off the base and swap if over about an hours work!
Keen to see if this works, I have read so many DIYs for cutting out the floor supports from a MK4 and welding them into a MK3 to get them to fit, why has noone done this?!!

because no one thinks...I'm dead set serious...all the fabric and foam goes straight over them!
Nabbed this pic while pumping up the ventos tyres to lessen the rolling resistance.
while the vento is dirty in the pics (no idea what the dots are... they only appeared since being at my house),
it does look very dull and worn compared to the bora (which isnt crash hot itself...)
new grill thanks to Tim at Dubaddiction!
I removed the front wheel arch liners (and the massive amounts of dirt and crap!!!), indicators, lights, grille and any other bits that could have build up of dirt. Gave it a quick skirt with a gerni.
Shed is FINALLY clean (yes, the picture below is 'clean', you can see the floor now...), so vento got toed and rotated around. then winched up (that ramp is a lot steeper then it looks in the pics)
Not much to update on.
Got a bonnet bra the same as this. thanks to VW Imposter
Also got the vento some additional wheels (yes I know, the car doesnt even go yet...) but fingers crossed I have a VR6 lined up as a doner.
BBS RS703 anyone?
