Here is the DIY spark plug puller.

First we made a concept out of plastic to get the general shape.

Then we moved onto steel to get the final measurments.

And the final product is made of 18mm ID alloy. Use either alloy or copper. To cut the slot you need an endmill or digrinder or dremel or a rotory burr.

So your selling these when? and for how much??

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

                hey tazzie,

I need a demonstration on how to use the spark plug remover tool lol

It wouldnt even go over the lead ends (black rubber end) lol.

I think I must have aftermarket leads

So i kinda had to widen it up a bit for it to work. sorry.

But even then i couldnt figure out how to use the cut out grooves to my advantage. I got the plugs off by pushing the tool over the plug until tight and then just pulling em off.

So yea thats my experience with damn vr6 spark plug leads.
Sorry i had to damaged your beautifully made tool tazzy

Dad doesn't want to start making them to sell, sorry. but they aren't that hard to make from my understanding.

I'll try posting this into DIY thread, wish me luck...

this is what my spark plug leads look like...

You can see here the slot in the tool is made to fit the little flanges on the leads

So you slide the tool onto the lead and over the flange as per these images

Also helps to spray some CRC inside the lead, makes them go on easier

                        Hope this helps

I asked the guy at McGrath Liverpool spare parts how much the pullers are to buy new and he says they are not available. He said the only thing for it was long nose pliers.

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.
