I wouldnt bring the back down more without the front, looks good like it is You need a little rake to make a mk3 look flat. I alsofound that bringing the back down makes it so much more bumpier.

if you get 16x8 at the back, and match it to similar offsets for the front it may look okay.

You can always roll the front arches, respray if nessecary, and rock 16x8 all round

Think ill have to get fronts done too,and just roll the gaurds ....
now to find a place that does it for a decent price or someone with a set for sale !

Just roll them chances are you wont hurt the paint anyway, and if u do, im guessing it would be easier to touch up as its flat. them something like 16x8 up front 16x9 back

Doesnt look to hard at all really.Just getting back into the mood is the hard part,painting my car drained me lol.

Ok so Ive decided to get my steelies widened.
BUT I only want to widened the back ones,why so, I DO not want to roll the front arches as Ive already painted it.
Yes Its something I should have thought about, I was also told to check out too.I didnt..

So some Quetions:

Whos the best to do this for me ? (Victoria areas only)
Will it look stupid with just the back wheels done.
What size should I be going for on the back,my steelies are 16s
Can I get the fronts done to look like they have a lip without making them wider ?

I think this is the first time I've read through this thread and I've gotta say I'm impressed! Great work! Really lovin the setup in the boot! Gives me a great idea for my sub thats going in soon and how I might keep it in the one spot
