Nice one on the lamps. Which kit did you use?

As for the airbox, well, no one will ever suspect that you had a rat living in there!

Thanks bro, got a good deal from a friend of a friend from Hong Kong, they are only Tawinese Brand. Mate of mine had same for 2 years no trouble, I thought I would give it ago.

        Brand: FutureHID
        From: Hong Kong.
Cost: HID + LED parkies and rear number plate light approx $250.

YEah... the holes are big as I was used the same drill for the hole for HID wires, A BIG rat once lived there ....
Now I understand why people say it's the simpliest and best DIY mode, sounds like a V8 at 2500 RPM, and smoother response.

I still got to find time to clean time and patience to clean the muddy dirt and oil under the air box, does any one one know the most effective method apart from scraping?

pour a bit of hot water on the area and it should loosen the grime up a bit and scrape it off with brush or even your finger nails

THe light driving is good but could be better, my right chamber is pointing down as to broken plastic inside, So the beam is very cross eyed

Can I have suggestion to what material what would be save inside the chamber, last thing I want is for anythng to catch fire.

HEY thanks for the hot water tip.... working great.

                  A tip for engine cleaning.

*Brushing HOT water and soapy water works fabilously, scraped up dirty and oil pancake what was like 1mm thick easily.
*Finished off with tubintine an fish oil.

                      Nice cleaning job there

I have a few sample bottles of Simple Green I use on my Nitro offroad vehicles, works a charme to cut through nitro oil and dirt and grime.

Having said that, I think a bottle of dish washing detergent in water would work just as well

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

hmmm, they look very glarey! most of the cheapy brands tend to be and then become dangerous to oncomers and even more so due to you placing them into an open chamber head light; Really you need a focused lens type like the dual hella lights, thay will really give you a cut of with the beam instead of fading out around the edges, thats what gives you glare . . .

I agree, HID's work best in projector beam stye lights.

I cannot deny the fact projector would give it nice clean edge nor they are cheap brand, as to the glare from cheap brand I don't think so.

The logic is any HIDs in a open chamber would disperse the light, also note the camera is directly on the beam, you think I would consider and getting projectors prior to HIDs for the sake of on coming traffic? I think not.

HID is not just a cosmetic, I the driver benifit in the dark, as to on coming traffic I am sorry. I will try to adjust my beam height.

yeh but the thing is, if a cop is coming the other way, he can fine you for having an "non-roadworthy" vehicle.
