Yeah, the decent flexible ones are a must over the very brittle ones. Mine is still going strong, although a little battered

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

Yeah that's the funny thing, never once have I been pulled over because of my car. Other reasons yeah, but not for being too low or poking wheels! Touch wood.

My like 1 week old JOM euro lip I got from matt is already cracked in a couple places despite my crazy angled style of driving, poor thing had no chance over a cattle grid with 6 people in it haha. Rocking half a dozen cable ties, "stitching" it up now

the stock duckbill one i had was indestructible though, as are the oem euro ones apparently, so even though theyre a few hundred by the time you get one here I think it would be worth it

But anyway, to stop my new one popping out i drilled a couple little holes in some of the tabs (and put cable ties though them to stop them slipping out. did have screws but was worried that if they did come loose they would go straight into the tyres.

****in' hasslers, should have better things to do.

Yeah 'tis. Paint them black when you get the chance so it's that little bit more inconspicuous.

Good link if they're quality lips. Pretty much everyone have been trying to hunt them down!

i've run over my lip twice after it falls off. has only got 2 cracks and still staying strong even with no zippy ties holding it up.

                    well, similar to yours sam,
i got mine of ebay, with a badgless grill for a combined price of 80 bucks!
as of yet, the grill has taken a beating an isnt crack or anything, guess its a luck of the draw thing!

Tim makes a good point -

I have found that a good solution is to use some short self tapping trim screws, typically only 2 are needed - 1 at each corner. You need only screw them up through the mounting tab on the spoiler so that the sharp end of the screw begins to tap into the bumper slightly. This is enough resistance to keep in on for all but the worst scrapes. The length of screw i'm talking about is ~10mm with a large flanged head. They are very sharp.

Invisible, and works. Plus its darned easy to then pull off the spoiler when your changing the oil or working on the car.
