Aero Wipers for the Mk3

After seeing the thread in the Mk4 section I have been encouraged to have another look around for these things and have found this mob:

At about AU$115 delivered it's not too expensive a kit, I am interested in any alternatives people might have, especially if you have actually done the conversion.

Amazon UK have these which look pretty cheap:

(I'm also looking for a kit to replace the stock wipers on a 2010 T5.1 which comes with normal wipers on the front and Aero on the rear)

Just gotta look around a bit more, but if you want to do the aero wiper conversion, best to stick with Bosch. Louis and Bima both have aero wipers retrofitted to their Mk3s and the clean smoothly and are noiseless. Louis' ones have been on his car for about two years now and they still work like new!

VW VR6 and myself got some from these guys 'wiperbladedirect0191' off ebay, I got some for mine, mums focus, and the gfs mirage and all are still going sweet.
Got all 3 sets shipped for ~$75 aus or something sweet. maybe try a GB from them?

Yeah i bought a set of aerowipers front & rear for the VR, although the ones i bought are not Bosch it was the best 35 bucks ever spent ! Straight fit with no adaptors or clips.

Got em off ebay from a bloke called singlewiper .

If you boys decide to go ahead with a group buy for some Bosch units count me in for another set !

FYI wiperbladedirect0191 has nothing listed at all so may have gone out of business (or is having a holiday)

singlewiper seems to still be there:

I bought a set from the UK a year ago, worked out to ~$30 the pair and they are pretty wicked, both look and work a heap better than stock.

Yeah, been having a look at a bunch of different places on eBay and on random (mostly UK) websites.

Ideally I wanted to find someone who had done it and had a positive experience rather than hoping I picked the right seller. Mind you it seems that "Aero" wipers are pretty common place these days even for retro fitting to just about every make and model
