VW: it aint just a car, its a way of life There are few things more satisfying in life than finding a solution to a problem and implementing it

I dont wish to alarm anyone, but despite claims to the contrary I may be staying in this scene that I was kind of not really in anyway.....she may be off the market.
I was all set to sell it (all be it at way under what it owes me) went to get a roadworthy and there was annoying stuff that had to be done - just couldn't justify spending more when I was selling cheap anyway. Then I ran into complications with the chev as a daily driver and decided screw it I'm going to have to keep it.
Meanwhile, I got a set of smoked hella indicators in the mail that I ordered from germany forever ago and I think if I'm keeping it I might paint it if I can as well!
Then its a matter of praying it will make the trip to qld without breaking down. Everything is working great right now - lets hope it stays that way for awhile!
Lots has happened since I posted on this! Tried to sell the golf but ran into rwc issues and nobody wanted to buy it at the price i wanted cause of the paint (which Ive always admitted was terrible!) Ended up selling my pickup to a guy in brisbane (gutted) and flying down to Melbourne and driving the golf up to the gold coast! Here's a pic of it as I left!
It performed unbelievably well and didn't miss a beat the whole time! Although I did almost lose the racks as they apparenty weren't tight enough! Luckily had the thule tool in the car so it was all good!
So yeah now i have the car up here, its matte black and consensus is it looks ****ty, and it has no air con so its going to be hot this summer! My friend who i left the car with sold my wheels as well! And pricey adapters from adaptec! He was trying to help me out but now I have no wheels either! So looks like i'm going to have to start again! Stay tuned!

Tiguan 162 Allspace Wolfsburg
Well they actually are up for sale if u are interested. Check the parts for sale section. Bought them then changed my mind *doh*. Good to hear you made it up there ok! Sorry to hear about the pickup :/
Did the easiest mod I have ever done on this car! Installed tinted hella indicators and dummy fogs. Literally plug and play!
Anyone know where i can score this bit of plastic?
I am going to try and get my dirty black vr6 looking clean!
Wheel refurb started today, started taking apart the wheels, lotssssss of bolts. I was going to replace but they are actually in pretty good condition aside from some oxidisation - question is will the powdercoater tell me to **** myself if I ask him to powder coat each bolt head!!
Also debating tyres again! The falkens I got last time were rad on 8 inch 17's and I can get more....but I have some 7's up front now, what tyre can i stretch on these! Even the tyre stretch site isn't being overly helpful - anyone got some suggestions?
