My mk3

hey guys thought id introduce myself in here too,
just picked up this tidy mk3 last week, bought it off my mum for a good price has a low 140thokm on the clock and is pretty much stock apart from the 14s, couldnt help myself within a couple hours of buying it it painted the front badge and yesterday did the air box mod,emoved rear badge and did a full oil change service etc
after a set of lowered springs/coilys atm and a set of wheels
any ideas on what to do next would be great, plus id like to meet a few members off here as i mostly know people off boost, plus if anyone is after genuine vw parts i work for austral vw, and can help keeping genuine part prices as low as possible

looks nice and tidy mate, good buy! i'd be looking at colour coding the black trim and sourcing a VR6 front lip, will set the car right off. also some smoked tails would look a treat against the white paint.

Remove centre suit case muffler and replace with 2" sports back.

colour coding was a plan for the future (when ive saved up some cash) had my eyes on a set of tail light clear top red bottom thought theyd set it off with a set of blacked out head lamps

was also thinking of doing this, cept after owning a diahatsu mira with straight pipes,datto 1200 with one muffler,ek civic with one muffler and a suzuki mighty boy with no pipes im actually enjoying the quite for once lol, might look for just a new muffler to free up the air flow a bit, plus the induction noise is great
any of you guys go to harrys of a thursday night? or would be interested in heading there?

there just a set of csa 14s, id probably swap them for a set of steelies with tyres if youd be interested lol

They are a standard dealer/factory fitted 14" wheel, worth about $50!

thanks love, it is a very clean car. actually the best condition car ive owned to date, feels 'new' to me
some one needs to point me in the right direction for soem second hand lowered springs or coilovers, not getting paid enough atm
