How easy is it to DIY a bolt kit? I've been looking through this fellow's website on VW gearboxes - BrokeVW.com - and it seems the only hard part is when installing the diff back in again and checking the bearing preload using a specialised VW tool:
Buying such a tool wouldn't be worth it as I'll be using it once or twice only, so is there any other way? I would like to give this a go!
