I would try my best not to sell it. I would try alternative methods of getting the funds. Besides its your pride and joy right? Its something you get enjoyment out of and its your passion...so i wouldnt do it. No one else can appreciate that car as much as you! Even if you got 15 for it, you would still feel out of pocket and you would still miss the car....

This is the truth. Its why i wont sell my car even after i decide on a replacement. Even tho it really is starting to get long in the tooth. Ive put thousands of dollars into it. And there are probly still thousands to come. And for what? its not worth anything now. and it will be worth even less then.. Thats cars theyre never an investment. So long as they bring u some joy.

I might put it back to stock. I'd figure a way of keeping it if I was only going to get say 11K as it is. Im in no rush to sell it. I'll wait and see................

this is exactly why I have kept all the bits and pieces off my car.Learnt my lesson with the vr6 when I lost all that dosh!!

strip it,sell the bits,change the plates,get your granny to sell it,1 lady owner never driven hard HAHA

Another reason for stripping it is I would feel kinda funny someone else driving my car other than myself. Would be easier to see it go if it looked stock. My car could become a loaf of bread amongst seagulls ahhhhhhhh. The poor Dog. Ill keep you informed. There is still a chance I will hang onto it...

dont worry mate,I felt the same with my vr.... its better that mine ended up in south africa,that guy managed to break all the engine mounts within the first month and god knows what else.
