sweet as matey. great parts you have there. I recently fitted the same control arm bushes as what you have. Feels great and geez it certainly improves the feel of the car.

awesome wheels glad to see them still on the car. been thinking of changing mine but cant go past the quality of bbs and the look.

also, how much for the suspension?
Cats can be removed (for the time being) here. We have an inspection every 6 months called a 'warrant of fitness' aka WOF, what they can pass or fail you on for is excessive smoke and loud exhausts. This will change in the near future and if your car came with a cat it will have to have one...

The suspension (as per pic) was about $950nz landed, from TmTuning, the range above these are coilovers, a few mates have it (mk1-4s) It's good stuff, the springs are progressive and suits me fine. They are firm without being 'jarring or crashy'
The ride feel is alot like Koni's. I'm really happy with them

something we should have here i reckon. im sick of cheap canon mufflers that sound loud and raspy. And the **** who cut their system of completey.

is that suspension damping adjustable mate?

Just the rears are adjustable - If you hop on the TMT site they will have a newer version - shipping might be the killer atm

Yeah most here are sick of the cheap fartcannons people fit...even to autos! lol
The cops can give you a hard time here if it's too loud and hand out instant fines -

About doing the bushes, what a difference to the heavy old mk3 it makes! It's been a couple of weeks since fitment and they are starting to bed in a bit - nice sometimes you can get issues with them squeaking!

Thinking of powdercoating the RN's in a darker shade....maybe with a silver outer edge - don't sell yours m8

I was rocking these 15's for a time - no brand, just had 'made in italy' and ET30 on them, quite liked the slight dish on them - damn nosy cat lol

makes sense. Wasn't there some 'exhaust avenger' in auckland filling tail pipes with expandafoam? lol.

I can't decide on getting new suspension or a digital camera...

Had one of these (Green cotton) for a year and a bit now - pulled it out to clean it with a vaccum, unlike the K&N/Simota panels you don't need to oil them

I have a spare complete VR6/GTI airbox - so I'll try some mods with it...cheeseholes and or a direct cold feed from lower down in the bumper

Fitted some FK intake panels (alot of aftermarket parts just never fit right first time, so a nip and tuck and it will sit sweet) - so I'll see what happens with some tubing from this direct to the airbox - on the drivers side, and the TB's coming off too for a long overdue dremel and clean...

Looking good Damian! Was the green cotton filter very dirty after a year's worth of running? I remember cleaning out my K&N after half a year and I had to wash it over twice to get rid of all the dirt that got filtered out.

Yeah, It was a tad filthy! Being white cotton you can see the grime... I have a really good Miele 1500w vaccum with a fine brush attachment that gets right into the slots, so It was looking new again after that.

You can wash them as you would a K&N if you want to.
In one of the pics, the edge looks a bit distorted, it is but seals well and is really tight in there! overall a quality product tho
They make a crankcase/oil breather too, So I will get that down the track...
