I know you probly got your heart set on specific goodies Stu but I have a couple of bits kicking about the place that I have acquired over the years and id be willing to offload for less than drug money.
1 x C2 Motorsports Quickflow Short Runner intake manifold (not as bling as the SP Turbo one but a LOT cheaper)
1 x SPA Turbo VR6 turbo exhaust manifold. (nice design for our RHD cars as it mounts the turbo further from the steering/brakes)

long story...basically i had a **** lawyer and being at the Melbourne magistrates court did not help! I crashed my car doing 120 in a 60 zone with too many passengers basically.Originally posted by schoona View Post$hit and i thought my 6 months were hard, what did you do Stu? lesson learned! all the other stuff i did has not added to that time except for waiting to gain my demerits back...adding 6months on top of the 2 years!!!!

Wow this will be an epic build lol, good luck with it. I think it's good that you've set a high bar on this one, so it'll take a long time, but two years should be sweet
Are you still living out of home, how can you fund this??? I can barely afford $500/mth repayments on my car lol!
ps. Also glad you're still alive after the above mentioned event and drive a little safer from now on, I sure do after crashing my car!

cheers dude i heard you had a little hassle with the pedal boxes. should be right but i know who to callOriginally posted by golf3 View PostNice man!
Gimme a buzz if ya need a hand with pedal boxes or something...
But, please don't ruin a nice build by destroying the boot well for bags!!! Just mount them nicely in the boot.
As for gas, I don't rate it...
i love gas
and as for the boot...i'll see what space is like when i get her

vvw has been boring me lately, so this build thread is a definite revival for me!!
gas is a very interesting direction for this build. I'm not aware of any gas vr6's, especially not a turbo one. There is tonnes of research to suggest that gas is just as good a fuel as petrol with comparable power outputs so I will be very, very interested to see how this all pans out!1996 Golf VR6 Colour Concept Green

holy crap. dude your pretty much making my dream mk3!
With all that space, the air ride, and a rebuilt vr6t, its very practical and spacious, while still being very respectable and totally off t*ts and with the gas itll be great on fuel too! best of everything!
good work mate, id love to see this things when its finished
good luck!
