    • Yes 128kW and 230 or 240Nm standard at the fly. This was definately the suprise of the night, I was only expecting 85-90kW! You'll just have to drive around everywhere with the bonnet off steph! That engine would be awesome in the Mk1

      • Heh - already looking into a bonnet vent to put above my fully sick pod. Haha! Would love to put the engine in the MK1, but I couldn't bring myself to do it - the trailer would be bigger than the car!
Did you get any pics of yours on there Alex?
I'm going to the pub... I may be some time...

        • Ha, a big rex style bonnet scoop?! No I didn't get any pics of mine. Not to worry though, it'll be on there again in 2-3 months so I'll get some then when it's making a bit more power

              • Nice result, similar to Mal's (Schoona) when he dyno'd his! I believe he just had intake and magnaflow exhaust on at the time as well.

                • Congrats Stephy, I had a K&N pod on the standard pipework, no box and a 2.25" catback and made 108fwkw so you are doing very well with the numbers. Congrats champion!

                  • generally you look at hp atw to be close to KW at the engine in a FWD, so 130-140hp is pretty much on the money for the light mods

Now... I got some inspiration tonight - it's not complete, I still need to get my grill painted and I know this will be a love/hate with nothing in between look. (sorry about the quality of the pics, i'll take some better ones when I get a chance)

What can I say - I like being different...

I can't... I have drilled into the bumper bar and there would be ugly holes...

Stop complaining. It looks good there. Different. Better than yours, even.
