Had a few people ask for the dyno run and idle videos - so here we go
Both are done on my phone - sorry about the quality.

I'll say, having taken this vehicle for a steer on the weekend.. It goes quite well. Well done, Steve.
Next time i'll try and talk more while driving.

sounded pretty lumpy as you rolled into SEDF! I liked it!
( i would have like a big smoking burnout even more, but beggars can't be choosers)

The real proof is in the timeslip.. But who cares, really? It goes pretty good and the dyno print out says it's making 140..

I distinctly remember being told no burnouts... gearbox issues at the moment, but if I have them fixed ill put it down the strip in a couple of weeks. there we will see how effective it is having 140kw at the wheels...I'm going to the pub... I may be some time...

No need to tell you about dyno print outs. Ive seen them read out 340kw and then 280kw just because of the placement of the temprature probe, let alone the other veriables.MK1 GLS 3door

It's not easy to get power out of a vr6, especially na. Costs fairly big $$ and you need a good team behind it. The dyno this was run on is brand new and the same one it was run on last June. So the power gain is definately accurate. But no matter how many horses you have, it is a useless car if it isn't utilised correctly. That's why I'm curious to see what numbers it can do on the strip. But preeny, you've driven it, apart from needing more down low, do you think it goes ok?I'm going to the pub...
