      Chris's Project VR6- LUC34

Here are a couple of photo's taken when Chris brought his project car home, of course the first thing he did when he got her off the trailer is give her a good wash and polish. We have a new bonnet, grille, headlights and bumper for her.
Need to fit fuel pump & parts then new paint job, we will keep you posted on both cars. Garage is now ready for painting.Off to choose carpet today.

Where did you get the front bumpers from?

Ohh and the black one was from sydney had the mk5 front on it. Redone interior, 312mm brakes, GIAC chip and I believe if my memory serves me correct a little engine work.
I'm soo euro even my missus is shaved...

We got the bumpers from All Coast Bumpers in Carrara-55376322 a guy called Peter, really nice and helpful, he repairs bumpers as well.

Yes, I think your right, Chris knew all the mods in detail, it has leather interior, he had met the previous owner a really nice guy who gave him all the paperwork even sold him a made to measure cover for it, plus other bits.

I knew the car well actually, I remember talking to the guy in sydney about it when he was trying to sell me the 16s that he used to have on it before putting on the 17s actually.

Great stuff guys, I always wondered about the black one he had stored away, he said it was something special - it's great to see it progressing. The rear bumper looks interesting with the rubstrips, it almost looks like a mk4 one. Could be a Mk3.5 off a cabrio? (IDK what they look like from the back actually).

I look forward to hopefully seeing you guys at the upcoming dyno day.

                          Matt.

Nah it'd be a custom one, maybe imported from the states or something off a website. The mk3.5's had mk3 rear ends!

I know that car too. I remember seeing it once and being absolutely stunned to work out it was a mk3! It was awe-inspiring. I didn't know Chris got it!!

It looks like this type of bumper, or at least with the rubs added - the top is too flat to be the proper 3.5 bar (below).

Like it's a hybrid or something.
