I was able to agree $10k with the NRMA, albeit for a slight premium increase. Premium is age and location dependent so not much point in comparing there - get a quote off their website.

They have a much more flexible policy when dealing with turbo and modified cars these days - I'm guessing they got tired of losing that market share to Just Car/AAMI.

No total losses to report touch wood, but in repair experiences with past cars, they've been ok.
Always have choice of repairer and if I've complained that a something wasn't done properly, the repairer has corrected it. There's 'lifetime guarantee' on repairs.

I'm no evangelist for them. Some repairers don't like them because apparently they lowball.
For repair work, the insurance company is really only as good as your body shop/refinisher.

Mine is with Shannons, although the car has a few extra's listed and has low km's (135k). Mind you I think I am still only at $10,500 and it costs me a fortune... damn Campbelltown and it's high premiums

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.
