Hey guys,
I ran into my first big problem today with the Vr.
I was driving home from work and noticed that the coolant level sensor was flashing, so pulled over and popped the hood, and I s*#t you not the whole engine bay was covered in coolant.
So I called into the servo down the road and filled the reservoir up and had a bit more of a look. Seems like there is a crack in the thermostat housing and is being sprayed out of it. It has been leaking for a while (Loon pointed it out to me a few months back) so IM guessing its finally gave way.
Anyways the car is at my aunt's at the moment, lucky she just lives around the corner from a VW mechanic. So ill drop it in tomorrow and see what the full extent is.
All part of owning a car I guess

. The thermo housing was cracked so they replaced that and all the bits and pieces to go with it, scanned the car for faults and done a full service on it aswell. It was a little $$$, but I have learnt my lesson about not fixing things straight away.
