vr6, how does it look?

hey guys,
looking at this vr6, to me looks okay, tho i havnt got the vw eye.

wheels have been changed, their pretty ****, but meh.
andd im curious, some vr6's ive seen have non-painted body strips, whilst others do.
anyways, any help appreciated.

Not a lot of info in that ad. As for colour coded strips, the later models had them, the earlier models had the textured plastic. The change over was 1996-ish.

I'd run the usual list of questions:

Having the timing chains been done?
Does the ABS work?
Do all the power windows work?
- have any been repaired/replaced recently?
Does the central locking work?
Working AC?
- has it been repaired/replaced recently?
Working Heater?
- has it been repaired/replaced recently?

...I'm sure there is more others will add, price is high-average but I'd be asking a lot of questions. Remember that just because it's broken doesn't mean it's not a decent buy, you just have to be prepared to fix those things. At 13 years old there is bound to be a few things, but also remember that if you buy it busted and fix it, at least you can make sure it's done right and will last you another 10 years.
