    Hey Guys,

Just thought I would share some photos of the VR with the Hottuning coilovers fitted.

I made the trip down to syd to see Matt at Camden GTi and give the car a bit of a run at the same time.

A mate who came with me jagged this shot out the window, pretty cool.

Very happy with them at the moment (First time lowering a car so I can't really compare it to any of my previous cars) They handle really well and its not a overly harsh ride. Compared to my old suspension they are great (Matt had a laugh on how RS the factory gear was)

It is a little low and had a few scrapes hear and there, my driving could be a factor in this as im not used to having such a low car. But I got over the humps the 2nd go around in Matts driveway if anyone knows what they are like.

Big thanks to Robin for the supply and putting up with all my PM's and thank you to Matt for the installation. Both top blokes

    Cheers guys
    Ben

As jono said before I did manage to make it up the drive way, getting out this morning I scraped the front bar but I still had a bit more room to get more of a angle, Going out to practice now hahaha. So for time being it will stay at that height

coming home this arvo I have noticed a massive difference in breaking, it stops so much smoother now.

I would have to agree with that now lol.

That is a good question, myself and a couple of mates have been trying to work it out. I should of measured the stock hight before they were installed, but I forgot.

                          At a guess 50mm maybe ?

I'm still very keen to get together some people (with Mk3's) with Hottuning coils, KW V2's and any other brands people might have. Would also be good to have a stock setup and maybe a cup kit or two.

The ideal would be to get say five cars one of each type of suspension and then get each person (or one or two independants) to drive each car and rate ride quality, handling, stance etc then to average and graph the results. Even better if people don't know up front what type/brand of kit is under the car.

At the end of the day we would then have a nice little data set showing price/performance of the different types of suspension meaning we could finally put to bed the KW vs everything else debate, even if it means we end up agreeing that KW V2's are king

I've tried to organise it once or twice before but have failed to get enough people.

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

I do like the idea Aaron, but it is hard to do fairly if you take into account other suspension mods, bushes (old OEM ones or new poly ones), swaybars, tyres and wheels etc
