    Doable youthinks??
Need to roll guards. Need 195 on the front, 205 on the rear (195 if you're game but complete cop magnet!).

Some poke at the front isn't a problem, you rarely rub (only on full-lock). Rears are difficult though. Here's 8" ET10 (equivalent to 9" ET22 in regards to guard clearance):

I got pretty bad rubbage with that. More stretch would've been better.

You'll clear suspension though, even on coilovers.
    Past: Mk3 Golf 2L 8V, Audi 8L A3T.
    Present: Mk3 Golf variant.

    • Thanks a whole bunch for the responses fellas.. Love teh Watercooled community spirit So sorry Mal for suddenly hijacking your thread! I've got plenty of time to decide on the sizes anyway (must be custom order, which = $$$, so not happening yet). Prob do some more searching and asking

Now continue Mal's build thread. Sorry again haha

      • My sister will be driving the car from now on (is moving to Sydney for uni )
Anyways the pea shooter was killing power and fuel economy, so for $200 fitted, I got this put on for her. It's interesting (would have liked 2.5" dual rounds but really wasn't too worried)

Sounds good, nice purr. Little bit of drone, but less than the magnaflow. Way less external volume. Power is a lot better, but still short of the Magnaflow. Butt dyno.

                            Hey there
could you give me some details on the new stuff. (box size, tip sizes, material type)
"tip sizes" - I noticed you have 2 different tip sizes coming out from the box.

                            thanks

Howdy, dimensions of the box, couldn't tell you. It's a 2.25" inlet. Tip sizes, fairly certain the large tip is a 4" item. Didnt worry me too much to measure it and its not with me anymore so cant check it for you. Is a stainless box (probably thin **** though being that cheap)
