  • i seem to have broken this

    i took the boot off to clean the throttle body and broke the small middle section
    wondering if this is important or not?
    can i just take it off and join the pipe or do i need a new one

    By the looks of it there's a small connector for some sort of sensor on the small hose? I'm no expert but I'd say this is slightly important...haha

      No you can just join the pipe and block off the little vacuum line.

      Its a filter for the crankcase brether, so your engine will brethe a little heavier. I see plenty with the mod, doesn`t seem to worry em.

      Also if you look at the electrical connection it is a blank and not used on aussie spec cars.

        Mines gone

        Although I keep thinking about putting in either a atmo vent or an oil catch can rather than having this suck at the crank... but then it has been running that way for probably 12 months or so with no issues.

        If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

          yep i read up on vortex DIY for an oil catch can so i went to super cheap and got one il post pics soon
