    • compressor shouldn't be going back on that quickly. but I do know what you mean by loosing pressure.

make sure the pressure settings are right, and that you're mixing it right. If it's going on dusty, either you're holding it too far away, for there's too much air. (from memory)

      • Sounds like a LPHV (low pressure, high volume) paint gun would help, if your compressor's not up to it.

        • LPHV that what i mean't! but they are expensive!!

The compressor is 50lt 2.5hp i think... does 193cfm by memory!

I dont have your gun jarred!!

I'm borrowing another gun off a mate tomorrow so hopefully that works nicely!

          More pics tonight!

Get someone else to paint it then! hahaha.

I like the fact that you aren't afraid to have a crack at things yourself dude. Painting (to the extent of bodywork) is way out of my league i reckon.

                              • Well since a few years ago when I did the golf and then the beetle and now the new golf.... I have learnt sooo much! I now know easy ways to do things! And proper ways

                                Thanks for the encouragement guys!!

I'll try more thinners too... But it's really cold so I have to keep that account.
