        • THE VR IS UP AND CRANKING!!!

tomoz morning going down to v power

Doing an oil change, engine flush, system cleaner, hook the heater core up, coolant flush, new coolant, replace gearbox mount, put original lights back in the dash (had blue LED's PATHETIC!), finish wiring the sound system and headunit, injector clean and pod filter.

and if i get time before work...a buff to try and get some of the little scratches out

          CAN'T WAIT!!!!

          • Woohoo!!! Sounds like what I just did for mine I gave mine a FULL SYSTEM flush (fuel, oil, coolant) and new liquids everywhere (except i should have done the gbox...) cos i felt like it with the service due car runs so smooth now!!

You'll be real pleased with the results man Use Liqui-moly for engine stuff if you can, i used it on mine and i've only seen good differences despite what some have warned about flushes.

i have all wurth stuff...but only because i got it cheap through my old work

doing plugs and fuel system cleaner too should run quite well not that it doesn't now!

i will prob do the g-box while i have it on the hoist!

                • Sounds good Stu. So all the electrics are sorted...

                  Comment

                  • yep all electrics are fine

so i got a sweet vr with a bung alternator... CHEAP!!!

$540 fix but it sure is better than spending $7k on a vr6

                    • so i changed the oil, plugs, gear-box mount, oil filter dash globes, new badgeless grill came so i put that in... (looks mad! ) and wired the head unit.

then tonight coming home from work i ran out of fuel jarred and josh saved me

then when i got to eve (night club) i notice my winscreen was fogging and stem was coming out of the bonnet

the crack pipe...has cracked! so a tow truck home...again! lol

i have no luck with cars.

oh well time for a billet one!
