My VR6 has another problem. I'm losing radiator fluid through the reservoir overflow when I turn the car off after a drive. Any ideas why?
Would there be a blockage in the system preventing circulation and therefore require a flush, or is there a common problem which I need to look at?
The whole cooling system sounds like it is chugging fluid for ages after the car is off.

If it's still on maybe that's a pump problem? sorry mate got no idea that's just a guess.

Oh and by the way you shouldn't have green fluid in there to start with...G12 coolant is pink and that's what you need.

I have heard of people doing a flush and change to green stuff... it's possible, although I'm led to believe not as effective.

DONT mix red and green or you end up with brown sludge.

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

From what I've found & this is personal experience using G12 for extended period's of time with regular 2 year replacement on older vehicles.

          It's eat's alloy!

I'd go to a Nulon product like Super Cool.
