Had one steelie made up to 15x8 +25 and then had a 185/45 nankang stretched onto it to check fitment; They'll be staggered with a +10 out back, so luckily I had a 15mm spacer here to fit up with the wheel to achieve the +10 fitment on the rear.
hey Alex! looks very fkn cool! so where'd ya get them widened? Race Engineering? can i ask - was it pricey?

cheers dude
it's not as cheap as you want it to be . . . I hate thinkin bout it cuz it should be going towards the vr I really hate boredom . . . anyway, it's costed me 160 a rim, unpainted, from Billeau Engineering on the Gold coast . . .
also it seems I can do much with the hid retro untill I get a hold of some new headlight housings! i'm keeping the insert pieces that I painted though the outer shell seemed like it had been through a slight fire or something from the previous owner so I trashed them a while back. I actually bought new ones but forgot about how we have the euro and na versions! so guess what, I got the damb na versions here, new hellas gotta re-sell'em and get another pair without paying through my teeth!
ok, bit of an update, started installing my hood pins but used up my last grind disc so I couldn't finish the other side so then I got stuck into one headlight!
just went to bunnings and found some pvc tubing and a reducer, will post more pics up when I do the other one because my camera died . . .
Hahaha awesome. Is that with the pipe reducer already fitted?
yeh, that's how it's going to look but only painted. unsure what colour? perhaps just white or black . . . if I paint it black it won't look as googley eyed huh . . .

getting any closer to and ETA for 'completetion' yet?
i'm not setting any more eta's cuz i'm simply not making them! i'm getting a little impatient lately to be honest; If it takes any longer I may end up hiring a crane and doing it myself in my crammed garage
anyways, slight update; I've painted the other headlight up and going to wait for it to fully cure before I attack it with the other projector retro and have also finished off the bonnet pins so now the bonnet can be painted with the yellow underneith and white ontop! no more ricey wanna-be-carbon black (i'd like to take this opertunity to say again that the bonnet came from a black jetta and I didn't have it painted )
------
And a hecti update,
rims are primered though no more fluro, found out it's expensive and you need lots of it because it's so transparent apparently the first coat of fluro you won't even see! rediculous; So it's been binned in favor of satin black center with Lamborghini orange and I still want a colour on the inside lip where the tyre stretches away from the rim so i'm going to try get some fluro pin stripe tape, that'll also prevent it from being scrated from the tyre shops . . .
