My bro's, i'm quoting myself because it's time close down on vww, i'm cutting back on forums so my life isn't consumed by them

I'll be surfing Euro Revolution, mk3 Love and jdm style tuning for those who are interested in how my vr unfolds.

I just don't find vww satisfies me anymore with far too much junk and not enough insperation.

        Check ya . . . Alex

        • Shame to see you leaving here Alex, your car has been some inspiration for a few people on here, especially myself.
Will have to keep a closer eye on Euro Rev and MK3 <3 for more updates!

              • ok, ****, how could I stay away, I couldn't let the junk keep me from all my fellow mk3 Brethrin, sorry doods if youz think i'm a bit of a though I left for other reasons than what I stated.

anyhow, i'm waiting atm for my mate to clear some cars from his workshop before he attacks mine so it's just sitting in my garage waiting patiently.

Though I need a daily steering wheel as the Nardi I have is suede and it'll get wrecked with my sweaty hands on the street as I won't be wearing gloves So the delema is, do I buy the leather version of the same wheel or do I use this wooden Nardi wheel that I kept from a previous ride?? It's quite rare I believe because it's the 330mm version, a lot of the wooden versions are like 350mm+ so I hung onto it. Should I run it? It's kinda funky huh . . .

                ........................

and in the meantime, i've been playing with the Hectiva, so here's some wicked pics (<-that's my gangsta grill yo!)

I've gotton bored of the meshies and want a bit more tuck to emphasize the lowlow so I picked up these 15" steelies (have been told they're of a swift? same center bore too!) for next to nothing, soooo.....

and the fitment i've meticulously worked out . . .

Had one steelie made up to 15x8 +25 and then had a 185/45 nankang stretched onto it to check fitment; They'll be staggered with a +10 out back, so luckily I had a 15mm spacer here to fit up with the wheel to achieve the +10 fitment on the rear.

                • So here's how nicely my measurments worked out!

I thought they would have finished the steelies by now but oh well + after seeing the fitment i'm going to get the dremel out and screw some more camber into the front and put it down a lil more

I decided i'm going with flat black centers, gloss fluro orange lips and the bit around the edge of the rim thats exposed due to the tyre stretch will be done in fluro yellowy-green lol I wonder how it's gunna look.

here's an example of the orange and yellow

And the Hectiva has now been christened
