What colour code is the pistachio? I wonder if its the same green as mine...
It's definitely supposed to be the same colour as yours, Matty T.
The VR6 colour concept cars were pistachio green, ginster yellow, tornado red, chagall blue and I've seen some black ones too.
Harlequin paint and codes:
- Ginster Yellow - L132
- Tornado Red - LY3D/G2
- Pistachio Green - LD6D
- Chagall Blue - LD5D
The Harlequin colours are different to the Colour Concepts I'm pretty sure, minus the pistachio green and tornado red. The Colour Concept blue was a Jazz Blue? And the yellow Colour Concept is definitely not Ginster - the Ginster Yellow is very vibrant, and the Colour Concept yellow is definitely a lot more paler in comparison.

Yeah Ray, come to think of it, the yellow is a lot more custard like.
Don't want to dilute this thread with my 'conjecture' - there's probably a thread out there that would clear it up : )
well it's kinda late and i'm a little tired but it's never to late for a lil update
The almost finished engine bay! We're re-doing the red on sunday or monday pending rain, but never the less you can get an idea on how it's gunna look
Very festive I know! HOE HOE HOE! lol
and then comes the Chagall Blue; which I thought was going to be BLUE but in fact is one of those purpley blues lol Still love it though
And one headlight nearly complete! Man I love these colours together! I'm so effing excited bout this!
And a quicky of the WorksBell quick release and Nardi wheel
Gettin there!
By the way does anyone here know where I can have either a fiberglass or carbon (pending on $$) bonnet made?? possibly even guards . . . needs a diet
and i'm just the rattle can king with the small parts like the headlights and other touches! My mate is doing the spray gun, but even still he aint no painter either, this is like the 3rd thing he's done he's definately still learning and doing a great job with it! So yeh, I guess I might as well be doing it
Does anyone have this Chagall blue here in aus? it's quite pupley?? both the cans I had made and the tins that my mate had made up are the same tint so it's gotta be right??
These guys are Melbourne based. I'm not 100% sure, but I think they'll make you a bonnet. They might not be interested in one-offs, but they'd be worth a try.
That Pistacio Green is a great colour, I`d love to paint a car that colour.
Keep the updates coming, good to see you doing it yourself.
