For reference I cut out pretty much all the mufflers so I had a single 2" pipe from the cat to my rear box, droney as all hell at 80, but made a nice noise:

I decided to try to quieten the thing down a little and add in a resonator or two... then went a little over the top and got a full 2.5" Lukey system with a couple of resonators a new rear box and some new chrome tips (which look suprising like the old ones ) Total cost was $650, but my ears don't bleed so much anymore so it's all good.

    And the final product...

It's much quieter in the cabin, although still a little drone, outside the noise is still good

As has been said, your local place can most likely add in a generic aftermarket muffler with the tip of your choice for the same sort of money once you buy off eBay, add in shipping plus the cost of the local place fitting it (unless you can do that yourself)...

Up to you, but unless your picking up a bargain cheap Magnaflow or some other branded unit, a local sourced part is the best option.

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

      hey guys

im basically trying to achieve a nice look and note. cant be too loud or drony as i have a 15 month old in tow 50% of the time.

performance is really not something im worried about as i think spending money on an atmo engine for power gains in my opinion is not worth it (would rather spend the money on handling, stopping and looks).

here are some examples of said ebay mufflers

      not so cheap but nice

Just remember if you're only putting a rear muffler on the stock exhaust you need a 2.25" inlet.
