Guys, I'm trying to put my silly car back together. All I've got left to do is spark leads, engine covers, one coolant hose from radiator to engine, a starter motor bolt which isn't impossible but is very annoying, and CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER.
My problem is this. When we had my engine in pieces (doing the clutch and timing chains) i pushed the clutch pedal in (
) and this little gray cylinder looking thing popped right out of the slave cylinder, and I don't know how it is supposed to go back in (I assume before the rod, spring and rubbery thing that are in the slave cylinder now). Can anyone be of any help? Have I actually broken the piece and do I need a new one or is there a way I can squeeze it back in/put it back together and top up the hydraulic fluid?
Cheers guys
Mickey
