Yeah, then you have to bleed it. Make sure the brake reservoir is topped off and open the bleed nipple. If you just wait the fluid runs through under gravity. Wait for the bubbles to stop and nip it up.

Thanks guys. We just need a long 16mm socket to put the starter bolt in, then we'll plug in the leads and start her up. Timing is all fine, since we checked/tested it etc, hoping it is ok on startup now Thanks Gavin for the tip.

            One last question guys

I'm just wondering, to bleed the slave cylinder, does it matter if I have already bolted it into the gearbox? That was a PITA..I really hope I don't have to undo it again lol.

Nice work on doing all the stuff you have done, but please tell me you have invested in a workshop manual, preferably the Bentley...??

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

Wait, I don't understand your post lol...does that slave cylinder have to be OUT of the tranny? I'm assuming it would be because then the piston won't be depressed..

Okaayyyy!! All is done, and the car turned on first go My wheels BADLY need an alignment (they turn on their own) and there's this little issue with the brakes (i think there's air in the lines...) but apart from that it's great! Thankyou to everyone on the forum for words of advice

Did u get the coilies in? If u didnt, wait until u get em in so u dont have to do another alignment! Glad to hear it runs ok, u might have put air into the lines when u bled the clutch lol.
