I thought the same about the shaved bumper when I was thinking more about doing it. Problem is, I've gone and smoked my lights and now they look too good to replace!

I'd love to see my car with a shaved bumper..I think they look tops

Sweet lights there. I like how you have the little centre lights working with the fogs.

So, how do the stages of illumination work? Let me guess:

1. Angel rings for side lights
2. Angel rings and main lights
3. Angel rings, mains and centre lights on full

Who was the ebayer?

Hell yeah, i soooo wanted the Celis lights but they were too hard to find and expensive... i settled for second best..
my centre lights, fogs, and halos (or rings) are connected with the dim lights,
below is when i have my lights on..

and heres one with just dims

i changed the center peanut bulbs to white, you can see the difference

oh and one last thing, this is what my car use to look like with the stock headlights... (mind the bad quality pic)

Wow, they look pretty impressive at night, and a nice white glow too. Its good how you have all the lights on for just the Dim setting. Bet they blind when on high beam right?

Have you got the ability to change how they light up? For example, ONLY the halo's for the dim, then main beams, then the two middle beams for use with fogs?

I'm starting to really like these lights...What bulbs are you using at the moment?

yeah i dont see why not... all you need is wires and switches.... kinda hard to explain right now, but most def. its possible...

im using white peanut bulbs for the center lights, and philips H1 for my main lights, still using the stock H1 lights for my high beams... im planning to get HID's so this could change...

Just what i like to hear. Most Aussie Golfs have all the Euro wiring in for an instant hook up so i guess the straight forward connection would be angel eyes for half lights them one bulb for main. Then the other bulb for full beam.

Gotta track me down some of these...

some nice looking lights on here guys

I have mk4 style on my vr, but...i like em but i think its a bit to much 'shinny', im looking for something a little different.

Been on tmtuning and was looking at the ones that steve has but im not keen on the angel eyes. ones like them minus angel eyes

where do u guys shop for headlights?

Jon, how did u go with your headllight choosing?

just check e-bay there is a plenty diggerent headlights for MK3 and some is very cheap (less than $300 shipped to Au)

Still shopping to be honest. Can't seem to make up my mind

My gut is swaying me toward the MK4 lookalikes, but dunno if i want integrated turn signals, or bright white lights like the pics above.

Have also seen the MK5 look lights with the longer turn signals at the bottom which look sweet. TMTuning is the place for the best selection but cash is proving to be a problem right now.

I think once i get a few bucks i'll get them ordered and we could do a bigger shipment perhaps for a couple of sets if anyone is after some.
