I need info on the fuel injectors for Digifant 1 or 2. Does anyone replace the 2 plastic clips before and after the o ring on the bottom spray jet of the injector ? Are these needed ?

I pulled out the injectors from my G60 engine so I can replace the small O rings. There are also 2 plastic like washers before and after the O ring seal that are not listed in ETKA or the injector kit part number 030 198 031 so I'm wondering if they are needed or why did they have them in the first place?sigpic MK2 GTI G60Comment

I just put the rubber 0-rings on without the plastic on, spray some lubricant on the 0-rings to let them settle in properly.MK4 GTI (KO4, GIAC)
