Hi all
A few questions on doner cars for a 1.8t conversion.
Most of what I've seen is the gearbox need to be a o2j or was it O2a. Never the less will a polo GTI engine/gearbox fit happerly using the same mounts or are there any audi s which can be use as a doner engine / gearbox combos
Ps I'm looking at mechanically only - disregard electrics.
IN short can I use the polo gti or a audi Of some model as a complete mechanical doner utilising the origional mounts. Or is the mk4 gti the only one.
Ps I know they're will be clutch and gear mech mods required
Any advice is appreciated
