After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. I've tried supercheats and Autobahn and neither had the hose size i needed.
Funnily, neither had a replacement listed in their catologues!

It aint safe to just get a straight bit of pipe, Because off the bend , it kinks way to much.
      Tried that.

Thanks Tommymac for that link, they have some good stuff there in the states!!

mmm, tempting, but cant really afford to wait 2 weeks for it.

I'm paranoid about having the car off the road any longer than 1 night!!

Looks like I'll have to go stock!

Whats your location ? GolfLoon should be able to help you out.

If your in Vic try http://www.mercwreck.com.au/index.php they are wrecking some Golfs and Seat with 8v motors, but they are a bit pricey.

I would rather get a new hose and I find http://www.autohausaz.com/ to be relatively cheap and fast delivery from the states. (within a week)

Plan B, check out your local Pirtek place, they can make anything and the prices are pretty good. They made a joint for me for about $30 which saved me buying a VW genuine part at $280...

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

Should be the same as Golf 3 2L or 1.8 manual.

I have some second handies if you get stuck.

Or my Homie Beau is on the Gold Coast. He is a VW mechanic and probably has one lying around. PM me if you want his number.
