  • Got a clean Mk2 Gti , hmm wonder how itll end up

Guys Jmac special, chop change central but all for a reason. Bought the MK1 cabby to do the 1.8T mod. Well its sitting too long and Polo is up and down, acquired a nice clean Mk2 GTi from a good source so I reckon itll be the one for it LOL. Anyway MK1 cabby up for sale cheap.
Stay tuned, yep you always do and I change my mind LOL, but I do love MK2s!!!

This is one build that we're really interested in because it has the potential to be something special. No pressure, so set yourself a target and tell us all about it. Then as soon as you deviate we'll all hound you to the ends of the earth.

          Simple really.

Aye!!!! Cabby and VR for sale. Mates daughter showing interest in the Polo and MK2 coming soon. I have LOTS of stuff for this already with all the gathering for the Polo. Have to admit I do personally have a good feeling about this one. and if I can get rid of the others then there is less distraction. Ill likely use this std for a wee while till the others are away. By the way My father has shown heaps of interest since ive headed this way, I jokingly back in the day said id VR6 one of these, but I do like the 20v so that's what itll be
            Cheers

Meet the new addition, this is special in many ways, it takes place of the 6N2, its going back to std as my mates daughter really wants it and in the nick of time , I was due to notch the chassis. Anyway I told my Auld boy back in the day id do this and im sticking to my word. Im keeping it std till after Nambucca this year then itll be going 1.8T with JBS04 turbo, stage 3 and Custom code tune. REALLY looking forward to it its such a great platform and in many ways like my Audi avant I have has me in a timewarp when I served my apprenticeship so im really happy, so expect plenty of updates, who knows conv may start earlier I have a lot of the stuff that I had for the Polo and have a lot of stuff for this already.
              Enjoy
              Cheers

That's a sister car to mine so it will be interesting to see how it looks as you progress. That way I can copy it without making mistakes along the way.

Alex G's old MK2 had D90's too. That's my MK2 in the background when Alex owned it.

Hey mate he was running staggered yeah? and as there is a couple of configs was it 7.5 inch rear or 8,s? Just wondering what he ran tyrewise as ill be shopping for them soon, even in std form want the steelies off straight away and have a fair selection of wheels but D90 it is, I bought them for my Polo and loved them then , now love em more. Not mad on my adapters but they will do for now.
Cheers for the pics, inspiring lots!!!

Drop Valgamesh a PM about Alex's old MK2. He owns it now and can tell you all about the tyres he's running.

Done that mate he is running non staggered but all good I got an idea what ill do, my spacers are perfect just have to fettle them to fit. I really want to fit the D90s before Nambucca, when I get back from that its coming off the road for surgery.
                              Thanks for the link mate
