    Cheers, that's good to know!
Living on the border of QLD and NSW- police can be real ***tards with mods- so that engineers plate will be important.

I want a subtle - not too obvious mod.

I've been surprised, no cops have cared about my mods. I offered to show my engineers report and they said they didn't want to see it and they were just interested in seeing the engine as they'd never seen a golf like mine.

They'd never seen a MK2? How young are the cops in Sydney?

Little do they know the power that can be tamed from a humble 1.8T!
As long as you don't drive it like its got that much power all the time hahaha!

Not sure if they'd never seen a mk2 or it was because they heard my diverter valve go off.

This is kind of the look I'll be chasing.

Did some photoshopping on some photos of my car to get an idea, feel free to comment

BBS RA 15in with a single lamp grill.

BBS RS 15 ( looks like 17in with my dodgy Photoshopping haha) with twin lamp grill.

Looks good with my RA's on it.

Your daughter looks like she's going to give you lots of troubles in about 12 years.

First dibs if you ever want to sell them

Haha, so I guess I've got 12 years of sanity left to enjoy.

She loves cars. ( I never had a son, so my love of cars has rubbed off on her).
She is actually getting pretty good at car spotting, especially golfs and beetles!!

Headlight possibilities- since they have to be done anyway( roo took out right side grill with main beam).

Awesome website with all the wheels that were factory or option extras for the mk2.

I just bought a Volvo V70, so it looks like I will soon have some time to work on the mk2.

Yes it's a box on wheels, but a very safe and convenient box.
I actually am lusting after a Passat or an Audi, but this will suffice until I get some money.

I've had 3 -4 Volvos in our family and they have all been great cars.
