They were only 'officially' imported between 90 - 92, of which they were 4 door, pov spec, detuned, 1.8 8v, GTI's.
There are, however a few personal imports from the UK and Africa.
Expect high mileage and price, because they are 'sooo rare'.... lol

I think there's maybe 1 or 2 (g60 powered Golfs) imports (Ill probably be corrected) and apparently a country Golf somwhere.
There are some 2 doors and the occasional valver, but very few.
I think I saw one of the G60 powered imports for sale not too long ago... was asking 10g+ IIRC.

How come LHD need to be changed to RHD?
As i have heard and seen a lot of M3 E30's been changed...
But if i bought one, i'd really want to keep in as it should E30 M3 arent the same other wise..

Australian Design Rules and State law dictate RHD for nearly everywhere unless the car is over a certain age. It's not like the UK where you just get an MOT and swap the headlights.
